I have hope

On the 18th May Nicola Sturgeon was re-elected First Minister with the SNP gaining its fourth consecutive term in office. The parliament had many new faces, amongst which was Green MSP Lorna Slater who lost no time in giving her maiden speech. So refreshing to hear such a positive outlook compared to the usual griping and carping from opposition members.
In her speech the Scottish Greens Co-Leader mentioned the recovery from Covid, dealing with the climate and nature emergencies, and Scottish independence. She expressed the hope that we can begin to build the country we want to be.
